So, at first I thought the highlight of my Friday night, aside from the Blazers game, was going to be walking into Central with a huge orange foam finger on my hand.
And it was rather bizarre and entertaining.
But then we went to the Blue Grotto after rock trivia to catch the end of the Young 'Uns set.
And that was when Meghan and Kate played air guitar for like an entire AC/DC song in the middle of the dance floor.
Best. Thing. Ever.
Saturday was cool--had a bit of a shopping spree, went to the Blazers game again (too bad they lost Friday and Saturday). My parents, brother and the pseudo-billet (I say pseudo-billet because A. he's not Trevor and B. the season is done) came out for the game and dinner at East Side Mario's. My mom, for some unknown reason, although probably cider-related, told some people from Alberta (who were rather inebriated) that my brother and the pseudo-billet were drafted by Florida.
What. The. F***?
When asked
A. Why?
She said "Because I'll never see them again and they were saying stuff like that to me also."
B. Why Florida?
She said "I couldn't think of any other teams."
My mom loves the Canucks. This conversation was definitely cider-related.
In other news, I am addicted to both Ricki's and Archie Comics.
