So New West won both of this past weekend's games. More info can be had from the Osoyoos Spurs blog, since that's where I found the update. Nothing concrete yet about all-star selections.
In other hockey news, bras are the new white. White towels, that is. Watching the Canucks game last night was bizarre, to say the least. Jeff Cowan scored the first goal. His fourth in three games. And Jeff Cowan scored the fifth goal. And people started throwing things on the ice. Including...a bra. And now, it's bra fever, apparently. They were even talking about it on Pratt&Taylor today. Will the team that started the white towel craze be starting a bra craze? You just gotta laugh at that.
I also discovered today that one of my favourite TV shows, Bones, stems from a series of books by Kathy Reichs. Set in Canada, no less. And so, since I now own and have read every Michael Slade novel, I guess I'll be moving on to that. Working a block away from my favourite bookstore is doing no favours to my bank account.
